Rankin County man injured after tractor incident
SUMMARY: An elderly man in Rankin County was run over by his own tractor while visiting a food plot for hunting on Saturday. The 77-year-old victim fell from the tractor as it shifted into gear, trapping him underneath for several hours. He was discovered later and transported by helicopter with a collapsed lung and internal chest injuries, but remarkably, he was awake and alert when he arrived at the hospital. The Rankin County Sheriff’s Department responded to the scene after being called hours later.

Red Bay grocery store remodeling after fire
