'It's not enough': Verdict in Tyre Nichols federal trial draws mixed reactions
SUMMARY: In the ongoing Tye Nichols trial, a close friend of Nichols shared her thoughts in Downtown Memphis. She plans to support Nichols’ family, reassuring them that the outcome of the trial signifies a step toward justice. Fox 13’s Leia Scott reported this live.

Impact Plastics president, founder releases preliminary review alongside video statement
SUMMARY: The CEO of Impact Plastics is facing scrutiny after a flood led to the deaths of several employees in Unicoi County. Workers allege the company misrepresented the situation, claiming they were not instructed to evacuate until shortly before the floodwaters inundated the plant. Investigations are being conducted by the Tennessee Occupational Safety and Health Administration and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation. The CEO contends that no employees died on company property and denies that any were threatened with termination for leaving. However, investigators have noted that Impact Plastics did not report any fatalities as required by state law.
Gerald O’Connor said in a video that employees were told to leave 45 minutes before the flooding hit and that there was time to escape.
