Former Houston officer found guilty of murder in deaths of couple during Harding Street raid

A jury took less than 24 hours to reach its decision, leading to emotional responses from the victims’ families who felt justice was served after five years. Following the verdict, discussions began about the sentencing phase, where both the prosecution and defense will present additional evidence regarding Gos’s character. The defense aims to highlight positive aspects of Gos’s life, while the prosecution will introduce evidence of previous misconduct. The case remains sensitive, with ongoing gag orders limiting comments from involved parties.
