New subdivision and golf course coming to Verona

SUMMARY: A new subdivision named Cabos Ranch and Golf Course is set to develop in Verona, Lee County, featuring 50 single-family homes and a golf course. Located at West Road and Green Tea Road, this project is expected to enhance the city’s growth, increasing the appraised valuation by $10 to $15 million and generating approximately $100,000 annually from water and sewer sales. Each home is projected to cost between $250,000 and $300,000. Although construction timelines are yet to be announced, local supervisor Julian Riley anticipates increased interest in property development in Verona once the project begins.

The Cobos Ranch and Golf Club — a major subdivision — is coming to Verona.
