New Orleans Saints reflect on rookie minicamp
SUMMARY: The New Orleans Saints’ rookie class may not stand out compared to others in the league but addresses key needs at offensive line and wide receiver. With Derek Carr and Alvin Kamara leading the offense, the Saints aim to provide a supportive system through Coach Clink Kak’s new strategy. They are focusing on developing rookies and integrating them with veteran players. Offensive lineman T. S. A. Fua is being tested on the left tackle position, while fifth-round pick A. T. Perry is considered a big receiving target to potentially replace Michael Thomas. Quarterback Spencer Rattler is showing early leadership in rookie minicamp. Coach Dennis Allen maintains a grounded approach, acknowledging progress while emphasizing ongoing work.

Even with all the rookies in the building, Dennis Allen is keeping his sights grounded as the offseason rolls on.
