New Orleans cool temperatures will continue

SUMMARY: The storm has transitioned to a post-tropical cyclone, but Florida is still dealing with significant impacts, high waves and extensive assessments. Wave heights remain at 22 feet, with rainfall totals over the past 24 hours reaching 10 to 15 inches in some , like Saint Petersburg. There have been around 45 reports, mainly on the storm’s eastern side, and over a million people are without power. Weather conditions will improve, with temperatures in the 80s and clear skies expected for the coming days. A cold front is anticipated next , potentially bringing cooler temperatures.

Mostly sunny skies over the next several days with highs in the mid 80s.
