New DNA evidence in Laken Riley's UGA campus death | FOX 5 News

SUMMARY: A hearing in Jose Abara’s murder trial, related to the killing of Augusta University nursing student Lakan Riley, may be postponed due to DNA evidence. Scheduled for October 11th, the hearing will address recent DNA testing revelations, including a thumbprint from Riley’s phone, DNA from her fingernails, and video evidence linking Abara to the crime. Investigators reported that a man resembling Abara was seen discarding bloody gloves and a jacket shortly after Riley’s death. The trial is currently set to begin on November 13th in Athens.

Holiday traffic could eclipse records | Georgia
