The mother, Sabri Chavez, and her children narrowly escaped injury when their ceiling caved in during the storm. They need essential items like furniture and dishes to make their new home cozy for winter, especially with Christmas approaching. While some locals are already contributing toys and furniture, the family still has many needs. They are grateful to have a new place before the holiday and have set up a GoFundMe to raise additional resources.
