SUMMARY: A Carolina judge dismissed an election integrity lawsuit brought by the Republican National Committee and others, who alleged that the State Board of Elections permitted overseas citizens, never residents of North Carolina, to vote legally. The judge concluded that the Republicans lacked substantial evidence to support their fraud claims. Additionally, a similar lawsuit in Michigan was also dismissed the same day.

In a ruling issued Monday, the judge said there is “absolutely no evidence” of any such fraud in North Carolina.
