Much warmer start & warmer day; few showers possible

SUMMARY: Today will be much warmer, with temperatures around 20 degrees higher than yesterday, reaching the upper 70s and low 80s. Winds will pick up, gusting to 25 mph. While most of the day will be quiet, there could be a few spotty showers this morning, and thunderstorms may develop in the evening, especially on the North Shore. Overnight, temperatures will drop into the 40s and 50s, with frost possible in some areas by Friday. The weekend looks sunny, but Sunday evening may bring rain and thunderstorms, continuing into Monday morning with a chance of severe weather.
