www.youtube.com – WWLTV – 2024-11-23 22:13:44

SUMMARY: Tensions are rising between city and state leaders over how to manage the unhoused population. Recently, notices were distributed in the French Quarter, giving people 24 hours to leave due to violations related to their presence. These actions are part of Governor Landry’s upcoming homeless sweeps, following previous encampment clearances downtown. A judge had previously issued a temporary restraining order against the state’s plan, which is now lifted.
