A recent critical water system upgrade, involving over $50 million in investments, ensures continued operations by replacing outdated piping that dated back to the 1960s. The high-pressure water system is essential for cooling engine exhaust and fire suppression, delivering millions of gallons during tests. The project not only enhances infrastructure but also creates local jobs. Key upgrades include a new electric pump and innovative steel liners in existing pipes, supporting vital testing for future Artemis missions to the Moon and beyond.
