Murder suspect arrested again for 2021 stabbing | FOX 7 Austin
SUMMARY: Antoine Jr, 22, was arrested in Temple on September 12 for a first-degree murder warrant linked to the stabbing of 23-year-old Nicholas Martinez in July 2021. The assault, deemed a random act of violence, was believed to be motivated by car theft. Initially, Antoine Jr was released on a $150,000 bond just four days after his first arrest, raising concerns due to his criminal history. After further complications within the justice system, he was arrested again for the murder, with Austin police recommending no bond. A Travis County Judge subsequently set his bond at $10 million for the capital murder charge.
New details have been released about the charges against the suspect in the murder of an Austin man in 2021.
