Multiple people injured in fiery Ohio interstate crash involving bus, semi
SUMMARY: I-70 in Licking County, Ohio, was closed in both directions after a charter bus was hit by a semi-truck near the Smoke Road underpass at about 8:15 a.m on Tuesday. Multiple injuries were reported from the collision, which led to a large emergency response and a fire on the highway. The closure affected the segment 26 miles east of Columbus, with eastbound traffic detoured at State Route 310 and westbound at State Route 158. Two school buses arrived on the scene around 10:30 a.m. The Ohio State Highway Patrol is expected to release further information.

SUMMARY: A Delta Air Lines flight from Minneapolis to Toronto flipped over while landing at Pearson Airport on February 17, 2025. All 80 passengers and crew survived, with 18 hospitalized for minor injuries. Blowing snow and high winds were reported at the time of landing.
