MSU wildlife ecologist designated fellow by international wildlife organization

SUMMARY: Ray Iglay, an assistant professor in Mississippi State’s Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Aquaculture, has been recognized as a fellow of The Wildlife Society for his decades of contributions to wildlife science and conservation. Iglay’s work includes research in wildlife restoration and damage management, and he has published 44 peer-reviewed papers and mentored over 30 post-doctorates, graduate and undergraduate students and staff. Iglay has also served in elected leadership roles within The Wildlife Society, and credits the organization for supporting his career through networking and leadership development. He expressed gratitude for the honor and recognized fellow colleagues for helping him engage meaningfully with the organization.
