MSU unveils monument honoring veterans of World War II
SUMMARY: Mississippi State University (MSU) has dedicated a new monument to honor veterans of World War II. The monument is located near the Vietnam Memorial on campus and was unveiled by MSU President Mark Keenum and Director of Public Affairs Sid Salter. One killed, three injured during Rankin County crash
SUMMARY: A crash in Rankin County, Mississippi, resulted in one fatality and three injuries on Saturday, November 16. The incident occurred on U.S. 49 North near Star Road at around 6:15 p.m., involving a 2000 Grand Pontiac and a 2024 Hyundai. Ashley Holloman, a passenger in the Pontiac, was pronounced dead at the scene. The drivers and another passenger in the Hyundai were transported to the University of Mississippi Medical Center for unknown injuries. The Mississippi Highway Patrol is currently investigating the accident.
