MSU opens new Patent and Trademark Center on campus

The center is located on the second floor of the Mitchell Memorial Library.

SUMMARY: Von’s Soul Food Catering in Columbus, Mississippi, provides over 400 meals to those in need at Loaves and Fishes every third Tuesday. Since 2018, owner Lavonne Harris has prepared full-course meals for the homeless and hungry. On November 19, a Thanksgiving-themed meal was served, including dressing, vegetables, and dessert. The meals are a special way to support people before the holiday. Volunteers from the community and local businesses assist in serving the meals. Harris also encourages more volunteers and churches to help, as there are days when additional support is needed to serve meals.

SUMMARY: Mississippi College, a historic institution in Clinton, will change its name to Mississippi Christian University, as announced by the Board of Trustees on November 18.
