North Carolina kidnapping suspect captured in Mississippi

SUMMARY: Brandon have 18-year-old Jerry Carredondo-Rocha, a in a North Carolina kidnapping case. On October 21, they were alerted by the Wake County Sheriff’s Department about the suspect’s vehicle. Police located the vehicle at a business, but Carredondo-Rocha fled on Interstate 20. After a brief pursuit, he was apprehended, and a missing juvenile was found safe inside the vehicle. Carredondo-Rocha has been charged with felony evasion and is currently being held at the Rankin County Jail, with additional charges from North Carolina expected.
