MS Gulf Coast Kennel Club and MS Gulf Coast Working Group Club to host Annual Dog Shows at Harrison County Fairgrounds Nov. 1 – 3
SUMMARY: The Gulf Coast Mardi Paw Cluster Dog Show will be held from November 1-3 at the Harrison County Fairgrounds in Gulfport, Mississippi. Approximately 900 entries from 201 American Kennel Club (AKC) breeds will compete for Best in Show awards. Events start at 8:30 AM daily, featuring FastCAT, Junior Showmanship, and the Pee Wee competition for children. Specialty breed shows will occur on Saturday and Sunday, including participation from the Boxer and Boston Terrier Clubs. A rare copy of the US Constitution up for auction is expected to sell for millions
SUMMARY: A rare 237-year-old copy of the U.S. Constitution is being auctioned in North Carolina, with a minimum bid of $1 million already placed. This unique document, one of about 100 printed by Charles Thomson after the Constitutional Convention, is believed to be the only one in private hands; the rest are publicly owned. It was discovered in a neglected room of an old property once owned by Governor Samuel Johnston, who oversaw North Carolina’s ratification of the Constitution. Previous sales of similar documents have set high records, with one selling for $43.2 million in 2021.
