MS Gulf Coast Buddy Sports will host a fishing experience everyone can enjoy.

The Buddy Sports organization provides recreational sports and leisure opportunities for youths and adults with special needs.

Tomorrow, Buddy Sports has planned a near shore charter boat fishing event called ‘Fishing with Buddies.’ The event will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. at Shaggy’s Charter Docks in the Pass Christian Harbor.

MGCCC celebrates 300th CDL graduate from West Harrison County Center

84% of Mississippi 3rd graders pass reading assessment for 2023-24 school year

SUMMARY: The Mississippi Department of Education announced that 84% of third graders passed the 2023-24 reading assessment, slightly down from 84.9% in the previous year. However, a record 57.7% achieved proficiency in English Language Arts (ELA), continuing a positive trend since 2016.
