SUMMARY: Mississippi motorcyclist Colby Alan Towles, 34, was arrested in Missouri for shooting at Olive Branch officers and extradited back to Mississippi. The incident occurred early Monday morning when Towles disrupted a traffic stop, fired shots at officers, and then fled. No one was harmed. Towles, charged with two counts of aggravated assault and conspiracy, will face court on April 4. Additionally, his girlfriend, Sarah Skriver, is also in custody for accessory after the fact, assisting Towles in evading police.

Murder suspect arrested following manhunt in Harrison County

SUMMARY: A manhunt in Harrison County concluded with the arrest of Bricen John Rivers, charged with one count of murder. Deputies responded to Wolf River Cemetery, where they found Rivers running into the woods. A deceased woman, 22-year-old Lauren Johansen of Gulfport, was found in the vehicle Rivers fled from. Johansen, reported missing July 2, attended school in Hattiesburg. Multiple law enforcement agencies assisted in the search, ultimately locating Rivers and arresting him. He is held at Harrison County Adult Detention Facility on a $1 million bond.
