SUMMARY: The Mississippi Department of Public Safety has issued a “Be on the Lookout” (BOLO) alert to assist Madison Police following an incident in the Northbay Subdivision. Yesterday morning, a motorcycle was seen speeding off after gunshots rang out at 5:30 AM on Long Cove Drive. The rider was wearing a jacket possibly manufactured by “Ride Rich.” Although no one was hurt, residents were shaken by the event. Investigators released an image of the motorcycle and are working to gather more information. A doorbell camera captured the sound of the gunshots followed by the motorcycle speeding away.

Madison police are investigating after someone fired into a home.
