Mother of missing Alabama woman says daughter was abducted
SUMMARY: Carlee Russell’s mother believes her daughter was abducted during the two days she went missing last week. Russell, 25, had called the police to report a toddler on the side of the Alabama interstate before her phone call got disconnected. When police arrived at the scene, they found only Russell’s car, phone, purse, and wig. Russell returned home on foot two nights later and was taken to the hospital for evaluation and treatment. Officials have not commented on her whereabouts during her disappearance, citing an ongoing investigation. Russell’s parents believe she was intentionally lured out of her car and abducted.
