Mother of fallen Monroe County deputy upset after someone stole items from son's grave
SUMMARY: Recent cemetery vandalism in West Point, Yabish County, and Amory has drawn attention, with Sergeant Dylan Pickle’s grave being notably affected. Sgt. Pickle, who served with the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department, died in a traffic incident nearly four years ago. Visitors would leave coins on his grave, which held deep personal significance for his mother, Debbie Pearson. Recently, nearly $10 in coins was stolen, leaving only 4 cents. Other graves in the area have also been targeted. Pearson’s cameras previously caught someone stealing solar lights from the site. Authorities urge the public to report any such vandalism to prevent future incidents.
