Today’s weather starts warmer than average, with temperatures around 75°F by early afternoon before a cold front brings gusty north winds, dropping temperatures to mid-60s by 5 p.m. and potentially into the 30s overnight. Windchill could make it feel like the 20s and teens, particularly for kids returning to school tomorrow. A couple of light freezes are expected this week, with coldest temperatures on Tuesday morning but no major freeze anticipated. Rain is possible Thursday and Friday, though a wintry mix is unlikely. Expect a return to warmer and drier conditions into next weekend.
