SUMMARY: This morning, Central Kentucky is experiencing downpours and thunderstorms due to a weak disturbance within the jet stream. The storms are particularly intense in northern regions, making travel difficult along Paris Pike and other routes towards Paris. Visibility is improving in Lexington after heavy rain, but more storms are expected later in the day, particularly from 4 PM onward, potentially bringing strong storms and torrential rainfall. The atmosphere is saturated with moisture, leading to heavier-than-usual precipitation. While additional storms are anticipated tomorrow, conditions may dry out by Saturday afternoon before warming up next .

Downpours and damages. Hopefully everyone stayed safe after yesterday’s severe weather in central Kentucky. More chances for strong to severe storms are possible as the unsettled pattern continues, with no sign of slowing down.

2 charged following alleged drug deal, shooting on Versailles Road in Lexington

SUMMARY: Lexington 20-year-old Jacob Fogle in connection with a shooting on Versales Road on October 19th. He faces charges of assault and evidence tampering. found 39-year-old Christopher Reed and a woman with gunshot wounds at the scene. Fogle later arrived at the hospital with a gunshot wound. Reports indicate that Fogle attempted to steal meth from Reed, who is also charged with trafficking a controlled substance. Fogle is currently held at the FY County Detention Center.

Two have been charged in connection with a shooting that happened on Oct. 19 in Lexington.
