Long-time Lexington Farmers Market vendor faces unexpected ban
SUMMARY: Long-time Lexington Farmers Market vendor Paul Corrl, known for his breads, meats, jams, and salsas, faces an unexpected ban from the market effective February 15. After over 20 years of participation, Corrl’s application was reportedly rejected due to a missed deadline, though he disputes this, noting other vendors submitted late yet were still accepted. The situation has left him frustrated, as his farm provides a substantial portion of his family’s income. Despite the setback, Corrl encourages continued support for smaller vendors at the market, while seeking clarity from the market board, which has not yet responded.

For more than two decades, Paul Quarles and his farm have been a familiar fixture at the Lexington Farmers Market, providing meats, bread, jams, and salsa to the local community.
