More than 800,000 Tennesseans have cast their ballot | Tennessee
SUMMARY: Tennessee’s Secretary of State reports 820,587 residents voted early in the first five days of voting, a 9.91% decrease from 2020’s 910,802 due to fewer absentee ballots submitted. Early voting ends on October 31.

SUMMARY: Investigators from Tennessee are testifying against Bruce Mendenhall, a truck stop serial killer on trial for murder in Indianapolis. One of the witnesses called to the stand was the Metro police sergeant who caught the suspect at a Nashville truck stop 17 years ago.

Tennessee residents, National Guard to play role in Trump inauguration
