SUMMARY: Meteorologist Suzanne Horgan reports a week of unsettled weather starting with a severe alert day. Today, there’s a risk of showers and thunderstorms, particularly in southern areas, with potential for isolated severe storms and damaging winds. Tomorrow shifts to a marginal risk, while Wednesday sees the risk extend north. Temperatures today will be in the mid-80s, rising to around 90°F on Tuesday. Thursday brings extreme heat with triple-digit heat index values, and Friday features scattered storms with highs near 93°F. Isolated storms may linger into Saturday as conditions evolve throughout the week.

Lady Toppers host SEMO on Friday

WKU Player of the Week: Lady Hilltopper forward Josie Gilvin

Feeding America, Kentucky’s Heartland names new board member
