Morning Forecast – Monday, Sept. 16th
SUMMARY: Meteorologist Chase Ward reports improving visibility as fog lifts across the region, with some sunshine in South Arkansas. Current temperatures are in the lower 70s, while humidity remains high, causing lingering low cloud cover. There’s potential for spotty thunderstorms this afternoon as a line of storms moves through the area. The weather pattern will remain dry and calm as the remnants of Tropical Storm Francine dissipate. Moving forward, clearer skies are expected by midweek, with temperatures rising into the lower 90s by the weekend. The tropics see potential Tropical Cyclone 8 approaching South Carolina.
