Mom to Mom – Nature Bracelets
SUMMARY: Today on Mom to Mom, we share a fun outdoor activity: making nature bracelets with your kids! This engaging project allows children to explore the outdoors while learning about the seasons. To start, take some duct tape, wrap it around your child’s wrist (or hold it loosely), and head outside. Collect lightweight natural items like flowers, leaves, or small twigs to stick on the tape. While heavier items like rocks may fall off, lighter materials are ideal. Enjoy this activity in your garden, on walks, or at parks. Share your outdoor ideas on our Facebook page for a chance to be featured!

Mandy has a cute tip to make your next nature walk with the kids more interactive.

Primary Elections in South Mississippi
SUMMARY: Primary elections are taking place today in South Mississippi, offering residents the chance to engage in democracy. Key races include mayor, city council, and board of aldermen, with polls open since 7 AM. In Long Beach, current Mayor George Baz is not seeking reelection, leaving four candidates to compete. Turnout has been light, especially given the significance of the Republican primary. In Ocean Springs, incumbent Kenny Holloway faces four challengers. Polls close at 7 PM, and voters can participate in either the Republican or Democratic primary, but not both. Mississippi Move is providing free ride shares for voters.

Polls open Tuesday, April 1, at 7 a.m. and will close at 7 p.m.
