Mom to Mom – Mom Hacks
SUMMARY: In today’s Mom to Mom segment, we share helpful hacks for busy parents. One idea is to place magnets on cups, allowing kids to grab their own drinks from the fridge easily. For treating minor injuries, frozen marshmallows provide a gentler alternative to ice packs. Shower caddies from the Dollar Tree can organize snacks for movie nights or tidy up fast food in the car, preventing spills. Lastly, cut stickers in half and place them on shoes to help kids learn left from right. We encourage you to share your own hacks on our Mom to Mom page for future features!

Woolmarket roundabouts completion pushed back again
SUMMARY: The completion of the two Woolmarket roundabouts has been delayed once again by MDOT, now expected to finish by summer 2025 instead of winter 2024. Councilman David Shoemaker reports ongoing complaints regarding the construction, citing issues such as uneven surfaces and eroding road edges. The project has faced interruptions, with periods of inactivity leaving roads in poor condition. Recent problems, including grade issues causing ponding on the roadway, necessitate tearing out the existing curb and laying new asphalt, contributing to further delays. Citizens remain frustrated, demanding transparency and swift resolution to the prolonged construction issues.
