Mississippi’s continued wins in lottery sales
SUMMARY: The Mississippi Lottery Corporation has contributed over $9 million in net proceeds to the state this month, bringing the total for the fiscal year to more than $27 million. By law, these funds must be transferred within the first 20 days of each month. The initial $80 million raised in the fiscal year is allocated to the Mississippi Department of Transportation, with subsequent revenues benefiting the Education Enhancement Fund. SUMMARY: An officer-involved shooting in McComb, Mississippi, resulted in one suspect’s death on November 14.
