Outdoor Adventures with Chelsea: Getting ready for gun season
SUMMARY: In this week’s Outdoor Adventures, Chelsea discusses preparing firearms for the upcoming gun season. She emphasizes the importance of cleaning her deer rifle, which had been unused since last season. To clean it, she used cleaning rods and a fabric patch soaked in Rim oil, removing dirt and grime from the barrel. After cleaning the bolt, she confirmed the rifle was sighted in by shooting a few rounds for accuracy. Chelsea’s husband, Wesley, also cleaned his shotgun in preparation for duck season, which requires more disassembly. Both firearms are now ready for use in their respective hunting seasons.
