A family from Calhoun City visited Columbus on October 14, motivated by a fall break to secure gifts before they sell out. Coach Darren Coffey highlighted early shopping for good deals, while his daughter, Shadaria, noted the desire to avoid crowds. Debra Philips appreciates shopping for her large family year-round. Local stores like Susan’s Hallmark Shop are also preparing for early shoppers, ensuring a variety of ornaments are available until December’s end.
