Mississippi man gets 30 years behind bars for child porn production

SUMMARY: Garald Benson Johnson, 43, from Pearl River County, has been sentenced to 30 years in prison for producing child pornography. Johnson admitted to filming himself having sex with a minor. This case is part of the Project Safe Childhood initiative, a Department of Justice program launched in 2006 to combat child sexual exploitation and abuse. Another similar case in south Mississippi resulted in a 10-year sentence.
