Mississippi man found dead inside vehicle in Louisiana

SUMMARY: A Mississippi man, 43-year-old Edward Robertson from Magnolia, was found deceased in a vehicle in Kentwood, , on July 27. The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office (TPSO) received a call at 8:30 a.m. a man slumped over in an idle vehicle surrounded by glass. Investigation revealed he had been shot inside the car. Citizens gather in Lamar County to remember the lives lost on 9/11

SUMMARY: On September 11, 2023, citizens and first responders from Lamar County gathered for the 5th annual 9/11 Memorial stair climb in Millport, Alabama. Participants climbed the equivalent of 110 stories to honor the firefighters who lost their lives on 9/11, symbolically completing their heroic journey. Organizer Mary Homan noted that the started with 10 participants and has grown significantly over the years, with about 56 people attending this year.
