Mississippi governor signs law enforcement bills

SUMMARY: On October 5, a two-vehicle crash in Jones County, Mississippi, resulted in three injuries. The accident occurred around 5:15 p.m. near the 3700 block of Sharon Road, involving a Chevrolet sedan and a Toyota sedan. Firefighters found the Chevy blocking the road and had to use hydraulic equipment to free its driver, who sustained serious injuries; two others had minor to moderate injuries. Witnesses reported that one vehicle drifted into oncoming traffic, leading to an offset head-on collision.
