Mississippi Foraging Community gathers for plant education walk in Bay St. Louis
SUMMARY: This morning, a group from the Mississippi Foraging Community Facebook page gathered for a plant walk in Hancock County to learn about plant identification and medicinal uses. The group, led by Destiny Pollster, aims to reconnect with nature and learn how our ancestors used plants for survival. Around 15 people participated in the walk, eager to discover the benefits of plants found in the great outdoors. Melissa Miner led the walk for the first time, inspired by the knowledge shared by Joseph, the group administrator. The group is passionate about sharing their findings with others and ensuring that this valuable information is passed down to future generations.
