Mississippi businessman accused of working with mafia boss in fraud scheme pleads guilty
SUMMARY: Keaton Langston, a 39-year-old businessman from Booneville, admitted to scamming millions from Medicare. An April Politico report implicated Jim Biden, President Joe Biden‘s brother, in helping pitch Langston’s services to a hospital chain. Langston pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit healthcare fraud, netting over $10 million. The charge carries up to 10 years in prison and a substantial fine. His sentencing is set for October 2024, while Farese’s court appearance is pending.

Mississippi Department of Public Safety rolling out new breath alcohol testers statewide
