Mississippi Aquarium visits WJTV 12 News

Upcoming events at the aquarium include admission for fathers on Father's Day (with general admission purchase) and a firework celebration with food trucks and beer. The aquarium is also raising $3 million for a new African penguin habitat.

Ex-boyfriend killed after breaking into Petal woman’s home, police say

A woman reported her ex-boyfriend was banging on her door before forcing his way in. A second man in the home fired a gun, striking the intruder. The man was to a local hospital but later died. Names are withheld pending notification, and no arrests have been made.

Senior Jake Franklin Ramsay emphasizes the importance of not getting complacent, especially after the significant graduation of over 10 players last season. The new senior class, quarterback Jeb Brown, is stepping up to fill leadership roles. Brown is committed to holding teammates accountable and pushing the young, new faces to improve. Last season, TCPS finished 8-4, exiting in the second playoff round. This season, the team aims to build on last year's , starting against East Union Urchins on August 30th.
