Secret Service agents shoot armed man | FOX 7 Austin
SUMMARY: Secret Service agents shot 27-year-old Andrew Dawson from Indiana, who was armed with a firearm and a knife near the White House. The agency had received a tip regarding a potential suicide risk, and upon spotting Dawson, they ordered him to drop his weapons. When he did not comply, agents opened fire. Fortunately, no Secret Service agents or the president, who was in West Palm Beach, Florida, were harmed. Dawson was taken to the hospital, and his condition remains unclear. The Metropolitan Police Department is now leading the investigation into the incident.
