SUMMARY: After nearly 20 years, advances in DNA technology led to the arrest of Jerry Lee Gardner for the murder of Raymond Hernandez, who was found stabbed in a house fire in Grand Prairie on August 8, 2008. Despite initial investigations yielding no leads, the case reignited in 2017 with the creation of a suspect sketch from DNA evidence.
