Millsaps wins the Riverside Rumble over Belhaven

SUMMARY: In the Riverside Rumble on Thursday night, Millsaps edged Belhaven 23-21, marking their first victory in the rivalry since 2019. Belhaven initially took the lead with a touchdown from RJ Garrison, followed by a 71-yard TD reception by Jacoby James. Millsaps responded with Chase Jacobs powering through for a touchdown. In junior college action, East Mississippi defeated Hinds 43-3, with Jaylen Jennings scoring for Hinds. Additionally, Holmes Community College secured a narrow 15-13 win against 9th ranked Co-Lin. Meanwhile, in high school football, Lanier and Provine faced off in a defensive battle, with Lanier ultimately securing the win.

The Millsaps Majors come back from 14-0 deficit to win 23-21 over Belhaven for their first win in the Riverside Rumble since 2019.
