Black History Month: Chickasaw County native redefining the cowboy image in Hollywood
SUMMARY: WDVA celebrates Black History Month by highlighting Tim Cook, a Chickasaw County native redefining the cowboy image in Hollywood. A Rodeo Champion and skilled stuntman, Cook recalls his early love for rodeo, which led him to impressive stunts in major films, including “The Harder They Fall.” As he showcases the talents of black cowboys, he emphasizes their significant but often overlooked contributions to the American West, where an estimated one in four cowboys were black in the 1800s.
