SUMMARY: Memphis Police reported that an ambulance was stolen from Methodist South Hospital in White Haven early this morning. The suspect, who stole the ambulance while the crew was making a drop-off, is currently hospitalized in non-critical condition after the incident. Police attempted to stop the vehicle but the suspect continued driving until officers used spike strips to disable the tires at South Third and Crump Street. Upon exiting the ambulance, the suspect resisted arrest but was ultimately apprehended. Authorities are working to gather more details about the suspect, who is now in custody facing charges.
