MHP investigated 15 deaths during Labor Day weekend

SUMMARY: During the Labor Day holiday travel period, 15 people died in seven crashes, with five fatalities from the viewing area. The most severe incident involved a charter bus crash in Warren County, where seven Mexican travelers aged 8 to 63 were killed, attributed to tire failure. Additionally, two deaths occurred on Monday in a crash between an ATV and a vehicle pulling a boat in Prince County. An 82-year-old and his son were identified as the deceased. A separate crash in Grenada County involved two SUVs, resulting in a teenage boy and a woman in her 70s also losing their lives.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol (MHP) investigated seven fatal crashes that resulted in 15 deaths over the Labor Day holiday weekend.
