MGCCC receives Metallica Scholars Initiative Workforce Education Grant for third year

SUMMARY: Metallica’s All Within My Hands (AWMH) initiative is expanding its support for workforce training through community colleges, with Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College (MGCCC) participating for the third consecutive year. The program has provided over 60 scholarships to enhance technical education at MGCCC. This year’s focus is on offering scholarships, tools, and personal protective equipment for students in Precision Manufacturing and Machining Technology. AWMH has invested over $10.5 million in workforce development nationally, now reaching 60 colleges across all 50 states. The program aims to empower diverse non-traditional students, helping them gain vital skills for meaningful careers.
