MGCCC hosts annual Holiday Hobnob and Scholarship Presentation
Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College’s culinary and pastry arts program put on a holiday tasting for the community.
MGCCC’s annual Holiday Hobnob is an opportunity for culinary students to show off their creativity, allowing the community to taste some holiday delicacies and pastries.
The students really stuck with the holiday theme. Dishes were prepared by pastry and culinary students. Students curated pumpkin spice panna cotta, special dressing croquettes, bourbon meatballs, and much more. Chef Lauren Howard said, “What comes away the most surprising to me…

NCBC Gulfport to Participate in Annual Navy Force Protection Exercise
SUMMARY: The Naval Construction Battalion Center Gulfport will conduct the annual Exercise Citadel Shield-Solid Curtain 2025 from February 3-14, 2025. This exercise, coordinated by U.S. Fleet Forces Command and Navy Installations Command, consists of a field training exercise (Citadel Shield) and a command post exercise (Solid Curtain) aimed at improving readiness and interoperability among Navy security forces and partner agencies. Although designed to enhance security, the exercise may cause increased traffic and delays around the base. Southern Miss Students Selected for U.S. Department of State’s Gilman Program

MSU, EMCC formalize Communiversity partnership to upskill workforce for advanced manufacturing
