Meridian Community College announces new competitive dance program

SUMMARY: Next Friday, the Northwest Florida Raiders will host the first baseball game. Meanwhile, the athletic department at M-C-C announced the addition of competitive dance to the school and introduced Angie Partridge as the inaugural dance coach. Partridge, a Meridian native, has been teaching dance for over 21 years at Carol Merill Academy. The team hopes to represent M-C-C at the Universal Dance Association Small College Championships and perform at the school’s basketball and baseball games in the 2025 season. Partridge is excited about the opportunity to build her own program and hopes to take the dance team out in the community to show support for Meridian.
